Policies & Guidelines

FRIENDLY, SAFE, AND COURTEOUS SERVICE

  • All passengers must have seat belt, child car seat, or wheelchair restraints in use while the vehicle is moving.
  • Please do not tamper with the vehicle and/or transit equipment.
  • Pets are not allowed on Boone County Transit vehicles. Service animals are exempt as they are not considered pets.
  • Reasonable hygiene is appreciated.
  • Please use courtesy with the driver and other passengers. No loud, rude, or profane language will be permitted.
  • No use of tobacco, alcohol, and/or possession of illegal drugs allowed on the bus.
  • Food and drinks must be in a closed spill-proof container. Refrain from eating or drinking on the bus.
  • Please understand we must accommodate all riders, some bags may be limited.
  • Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • For the safety of all riders, please wait until the driver has stopped driving to ask questions.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be available upon request.
  • Boone County Transit reserves the right to refuse service

 


TITLE VI

Boone County Transit operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin per Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.


Any person who believes she or he has been subject to unlawful discrimination under Title VI may file a complaint with Boone County Transit.
